“2024 YOUTH MONTH KICK-OFF CEREMONY” AND “GREEN SUNDAY”

Responding to the Program of launching the environmental protection movement in Da Nang, the Union Branch of the Faculty of Environment - Da Nang University of Science and Technology organized Green Sunday activities.

The program was located at the intersection of Ngo Cao Lang and Tran Nguyen Han streets, Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang on February 24, 2024.

Volunteers participated in cleaning up the environment on Son Tra roads, beaches, and public areas.

Meaningful activities were implemented to raise awareness of environmental protection in the community, while responding to the Program - an important event to promote the environmental protection movement around the city in 2024.

And following the launching ceremony of Da Nang City, on the morning of March 3, 2024, the Youth Union of Polytechnic University - University of Da Nang successfully organized "Kick-off Ceremony of Youth Month 2024" and "Green Sunday" with the enthusiastic participation of more than 1,000 Youth Union members.

Attending the launching ceremony, we respectfully thank the leaders for their presence:

And all Youth Union members affiliated with 14 faculties also attended this ceremony. Faculty of Environment with more than 30 volunteers also attended and successfully completed the Youth Strike and Volunteer mission.

The volunteers cleaned up the Faculty's Laboratory area, the Environmental Protection Research Center and the campus roads.

This is an exciting and meaningful kick-off activity for Youth Month, aiming to protect and build a green - clean - beautiful environment while raising students' awareness about greening schools.

Hopefully, this will be a premise to organize many other meaningful activities in the future, contributing to protecting the environment and building an increasingly green - clean - beautiful city.
